The Mood Project

December 2, 2011

The relevance of setting and mood in a work of literature is well worth exploring to understand the its theme.  In the project we have worked on for the past few days, we analyzed the setting details: physical, temporal, and culture and how it helped to establish the mood of a chosen scene from a familiar story we have read in class. For the class project, students chose a scene from “The Monkey’s Paw” a classic tale of suspense and horror, and created a 3D model of the setting and mood of it.
