AzMERIT Results- New Ways to View

With folks reviewing AzMERIT results in advance of their 90 day plans, here are some brand new ways to access and view data results to identify variation in performance at your school.

All of these reports can be found on your SUSD Data Wall under the Assessment collection.

AzMERIT-Results By School

Similar to the overview report which was shared to the SUSD School Data Folder in Google, this report provides you with a summary of all AzMERIT tests (filterable by year) for your school.   However, this interactive report has the ADDITIONAL feature of allowing you to “drill down” to specific student results by clicking on the student count within the cell.

After you click on the cell, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to see the results table and list of students.  You also have the ability to export this student list by clicking on the Download button along the bottom of the page.  To download as a spreadsheet, select the Crosstab option.

AzMERIT- ELA & Math

Like the Results by School report, this version also allows you to drill down to student level results by clicking on the performance band.

However, this version of the report also allows you to filter by Grade Level as well as Student Demographic Group (i.e. ELL, SPED…etc.) 

Please Note: Because this report filters by GRADE LEVEL results, it does not include End of Course level AzMERIT tests such as Algebra I, Algebra II, or Geometry.  

AzMERIT- Standard Performance

This report allows you to not only see performance bands by grade level and test, but it also displays test strand performance for each of the clusters within the test.   You can see the results by strand by hovering over the dots.  Strand clusters are arranged (left to right) from lowest performing to highest performing as a percentage of students who have scored “proficient or above”.

Clicking on the test strand legend along the left side of the page will display only that particular test strand cluster on the page.

Please Note:  Because state test results are linked to STUDENT PROFILE rather than school within the data set, student results will be displayed based on the students’ CURRENT ENROLLMENT & GRADE LEVEL rather than their TESTING ENROLLMENT & GRADE LEVEL.

AzMERIT- Test Strand Growth from Year to Year

To see a comparison of test strand cluster performance from one year to the next, you can click on this report to see a summary of students who have scored proficient or above.  Results can be filtered by both grade level and school.

Like the AzMERIT- Standards Performance report, this graph displays results based on the students’ CURRENT ENROLLMENT and GRADE LEVEL.

TIDE Dashboard- Server Errors

Some Test Coordinators and Test Administrators attempting to log-in to the AzMERIT TIDE Dashboard have reported seeing the following error.

This error is the result of users not regularly clearing their browser cache and it appears to be impacting VDI (i.e. desktop) users most frequently.  If any users are experiencing this error, we ask that they take the following steps…

  • Clear the browser cache using the following steps in Chrome…
  1. Open Chrome.
  2. On your browser toolbar, click More More.
  3. Point to More tools, and then click Clear browsing data.
  4. In the “Clear browsing data” box, click the checkboxes for Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files.
  5. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose beginning of time to delete everything.
  6. Click Clear browsing data
  • You can find directions on how clear your cache using other browsers (such as Firefox or Internet Explorer) by clicking on this link.
  • If you continue to experience this problem on your Chrome VDI/Desktop, please attempt to launch the TIDE dashboard using a different browser OR a different device (such as your district laptop).
